Excellent. I especially like your angle on there being no one 'right' way - what works for me might (probably) won't work for someone else! I work at 5 different schools, and only have a 'borrowed' classroom at one of them... at my other schools I have use of undercover areas with fold up tables! So my organization strategies are pretty unique. I'm getting quite jealous reading all the blogs out at the moment that focus of preparing your classrooms for the new school year! I've added you to my blogroll, and would love you to visit me at dreampainters!
Great article! I've always thought my OCD tendencies conflicted with my creative art teacher side. But I love how organized and colorful my art room is-it works for me and my kiddos! Thanks for showing your perspective! -Amy beyondroygbiv.blogspot.com
Congrats on the article! How relevant--just today, one of my principals told me that I have the oldest furniture in the building, which she feels probably isn't serving my needs (TRUE!), and told me to think about what I want, brand new! It's excitingly overwhelming!
You did a great job on the article -- BRAVO!!
ReplyDeleteGreat article, congrats! You are becoming the art teacher celebrity for all of us.
