#aheartadaychallenge : Week One

IT'S NOT TOO LATE!!! 

You don't have to do it every day if you aren't able..join in when you can!!!  It is fun to see the amazing diversity of artists creating hearts!! I have home school students, art teachers, classroom teachers all sharing their work on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook!  

Here were my week one offerings...with a theme!!! 

THE THEME...MY CHILDHOOD...THE 80'S!!!!!

2nd Annual #aheartadaychallenge

Last year during the month of February, I created a little art making challenge called #aheartadaychallenge!  It was a lot of fun to see the diversity of creations made based of such a simple theme!  With the way things are right now in our country/world...I think a little heart would be a good thing for all of us!!  So who is in????  It is really simple...make a heart with anything in any style...go with a theme...or not!!!  Just upload to social media and #aheartadaychallenge.  Tag me if ya would on Twitter & Instagram...or you can upload it to my ArtWithMrE Facebook page!!!  If you can't do every day...create when you can! This is low pressure/just for fun!!!

The End is Just The Beginning...

There is a wonderful children's book I read to my students that talks about nothing ever ending...because the end is just the beginning of something new.

#SpringSketchFri

We would love for you to join in the fun!!  This is a once a week posting of a spring inspired work from your sketch book.  The others involved in #aheartadaychallenge didn't want things to end....so they are beginning with something new!  It has been fun & encouraging to share our work with one another...adding a little bit of accountability for us artists to create!!!! Plus, it is only once a week..so not as much pressure as once a day!!!  Your creations can be made from any materials...focused on anything spring....so very flexible!!!  

All you have to do is create...and post Fridays on social media.  You can hashtage it #SpringSketchFri on Twitter (you can tag me also @ArtWithMrE )...or post it on www.facebook.com/ArtWithMrE .  This was originally set for March...but if people are enjoying it...we could do it through April as well!!

Happy Valentine's Day From My Wife

This has to be my favorite gift my wife has ever given me!!

(of coarse my children ...but I'm talking about a "material" item..not a human being)

She was secretly creating these hearts for the #aheartadaychallenge.  She does not consider herself an artist...but does consider herself very creative!  I'm totally taken by these...and feel so blessed my sweet wife would take the time to make them for me!  LOVE!!!

A Heart A Day Challenge : Feb 2nd

SOOOOOOOO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!

I've had teachers I've never chatted with before, home school families I know, and friends from my old church all join in the fun!  I love the amazing variety & fun people are bringing to their hearts!! KEEP THEM COMING!
