A great resource for Artists & Art Educators...

During the pandemic I've found myself turning to YouTube to challenge my thinking/mind because regular TV has just too much negativity (and poor programming)!  I have LOVED watching Art Prof.  They speak our language, and provide so much amazing information.

I found their YouTube channel first, but they also have a website that you should check out!

Sharing Art

I'm researching for a summer "gig" I've got (more on that later)...and stumbled upon this great resource!!!  I've not looked through everything yet, but I like what I've seen so far!  As with everything...take a look & see how or if you can use it in your classroom!

CREATIVITY FOR KIDS ....just add imagination!

I'm always looking for products, websites, activities to recommend to parents & students. I came across this site, and thought I'd pass it along. Now, it is kind of art in a box/canned art....HOWEVER....this might take the fear out of some parents having a craft time with their children!!! Some of the products look like a lot of fun too!!!
The parent company I've heard of..and have used some of their products.
CHECK THEM OUT!

LAKESHORE LEARNING STORE

Teachers...have you heard of LAKESHORE LEARNING STORE? If not...don't feel bad. They are not on every corner like Walgreens! ha ha There are only around 50 in the whole United States! Most of which are in California & Texas. My wife(a 3rd grade teacher) & I stopped at the one located in Atlanta, GA yesterday. She calls it TEACHER HEAVEN. I wouldn't go that far, but it is great!! We really need one in Nashville! If you are one of the lucky ones located near a LAKESHORE LEARNING STORE.....be thankful!! If you are not...check out their website!! *****http://www.lakeshorelearning.com ***** Yes...it is geared more for the classroom teacher, but they do have art, music, and p.e. resources as well!! I found a great book, some posters for my wall, and other random things I like to use in my classroom! They had a nice selection of supplies as well..but I was not really looking for those type of items. CHECK IT OUT!
