Even More Dragon Collages: 3rd Grade

I PROMISE...LAST SET OF PICTURES FOR THIS LESSON!

I'm not sure who does princess dragon's yard work, but I wish they'd stop by my house!

Love the space suit!!!!

I thought the dragon was holding a person, but they told me it was TNT. For some reason..there is a UFO in the background too?!?!?  This is exactly what I would have probably done if I had art in elementary school!! ha ha

I really loved the woods on this one!!

More Collage Dragons: 3rd Grade

I'm not sure if you can tell but this is an artist/school dragon!  The details are great!!

The destruction in this piece is wonderful! ha ha

The dragon is interesting...but the ice cream truck is AMAZING!

This dragon looks too sweet to do too much damage.

I wish this student had a bit more time....this was going in such an amazing direction!

3rd Grade Dragon Collages: Ode to Phyl

Our dear friend, Phyl, from There's a Dragon in My Art Room is retiring.  I decided to have an ode to Phyl with my 3rd graders!! They created these dragon landscapes in collage.  Phyl, you are truly an inspiration to all art educators...and I am glad to call you my friend!!  Also...I think you will haunt me till I retire because every time I do a dragon project, I'll think about ya!! ha ha

Saint James School: Art Show

I have been blessed to "meet" many people through Art With Mr. E.  I am constantly encouraged by the e-mails I receive from so many of you asking questions, sharing personal experiences, or just a quick thank you from something I've posted.  Kara from St. James school in Manchester, CT has gone out of her way to encourage me....and when she said she was getting ready to have her school art show...I volunteered to show off some of her pictures.  Not only to say thank you for the kind words, but also to encourage her to get her own blog going!!!  So all you bloggie friends out there...please comment on her pictures & maybe encourage her to start her own blog!!

THE ART WORK HERE IS NOT FROM ART WITH MR. E.
THE IMAGES HERE ARE FROM MRS. SABATELLA FROM ST. JAMES SCHOOL IN MANCHESTER, CT

Mrs. Sabatella 7th & 8th grade students created this amazing work.
