#turkeyaday25: Review

I've been doing #turkeyaday for some time now.  It is fun for me to come up with different ways to approach it each year.  It also keeps me being creative & creating in my life outside of teaching art. 

 This year I combined two ideas....Disney Bounding & Squishmallow Turkeys.

#turkeyaday23

 I started creating a Turkey-A-Day back in 2016 (I think..possibly earlier?).  Each year I change up how I create the turkeys.  I've done a paper doll turkey with a different outfit each day, class picture turkeys from different decades, art turkeys, media turkeys.....a little bit of everything! This year I created a cityscape and placed a turkey in the city each day.  It got kind of crazy, but it was also a whole lot of fun.

#turkeyaday22: The First 10 Days

Hello Friends!  I'm so sorry I've not been posting much.  We've have been dealing with a lot of yuck in my house (all of us were sick in some form or fashion)....and I've just been surviving.  I'm having so much fun with this year's turkeys.  For the most part, I've been using a variety of alcohol markers. I really love them!!! Twisting turkeys and other animals has also been a fun creative challenge.  Hope you enjoy them.

I was trying to do the upper one inspired by chocolate covered cherries.  Though it doesn't really resemble that a whole lot...I do like how he turned out.  The other one I just enjoyed playing with greens! (my fav color!)

 A friend of mine made a request for this turkey.  I don't usually take requests, but she has been going through a lot.  I thought if I could make her smile...then sure!!
