Bobs on a Coaster

I bet you all didn't know you NEEDED to see Bob Ross plushies riding a coaster at Kings Island, but here it is for your enjoyment!!  Sometimes we need to embrace the silly in life!!! ha ha 

Scaring Myself In The Art Room

Today was the first day we were allowed back in our school (there was a change over in custodial companies...which left no one to strip and wax our floors for part of the summer).  We are doing virtual school for at least the first month, and many teachers are opting to teach online from their classrooms.  I went to do basics....put furniture back and place & start getting all the things I packed up in a hurry in March back in the proper places. 

Well, I thought I’d be funny as I was getting ready to leave and put my hair dresser’s dummy head in my door window to freak out passers-by.  I ended up deciding to stay longer, and ran out to get lunch. When I returned and opened my door.... I about let out a scream!  Laughing it off, I went about working for a couple more hours.  Before leaving, I decided to use the restroom at school.  When I returned to get my things....you guessed it...I almost screamed when I saw the head!  

 

WHAT IN THE WORLD?!?!?! 

You would think I had learned my lesson at this point....but I left it! We will see tomorrow if I let out a scream or not?!?!?! 

SO FUNNY!!!

The practicum students are required to take pictures of themselves & send them to their professor each time they come to my classroom.  Well...I thought it would be fun to brighten their professor's day!!! So we are doing silly pictures in the art room every Monday & Tuesday!! I'm glad they are such amazing sports about this!! 

Can I just keep them forever!!! 

Hangry for Art

So this grosses me out a bit!  ha ha  I've never had a student actually chew on a pencil so hard it snapped(up by the No.2..snapped through!!).  This child was obviously HANGRY for art!!!

What Would Jesus Glue?

You know those things that just make ya laugh....and you can't stop....and you want to share it with EVERYONE!!!  Well....this is one of those things for me.

SIDE NOTE:

 I'm a Christian, and not ashamed to admit it.  I also am not ashamed to crack a joke or two at churchie Christian "sub" cultures!  I really don't understand the need for "Jesus" glue.  If you want to be a Christian company...then make the BEST GLUE EVER...

and treat your employees & customers like GOLD!!!!

Funny Flamingo

This post started off being about the still life drawings my students are working on this week.  However, as I started photographing them...I noticed the faces of the flamingo were all so different! 

So here are the fabulous & funny flamingo faces!!! 

This is what Mr./Mrs. Flamingo actually looked like! 

When ya run out of paper..you gotta do what ya gotta do!
So this makes him look like Daffy Duck when he gets hit in the face with something!!
LOVE IT! 

This is kind of scary when you are flipping through all the profile flamingos...

and then this dude is staring at you!

I don't know...maybe you all aren't as amused.  They made me smile/laugh...and I wanted to share it with you!!  The variety is crazy...which I'd really love...if it wasn't a still life & they were suppose to look like the original.  

Oh well...at least my kids are all original!!!!!!!
