Snowball People: Faculty Project

Last year the faculty created snowpeople!  THEY WERE AMAZING!!! I had found the link on another blog...and "borrowed" the idea.  Here is the link to what last years creations looked like.

This year we're going 3-D. SNOWBALL PEOPLE!! I had my practicum student stuff & tape white lunch sacks for the body.  The instructions are to create a "creature" that looks like/represents them...or something that they enjoy.  I can't wait to share the results in the next month!!!

  1. This is a really interesting and fun concept. Is it voluntary- I mean do you give snowmen to teachers who say they want to try it, or how does that work exactly? I'd love to try this sometime but am worried not many teachers will be able to participate due to December being a notoriouly busy month!

  2. Hey Miss...it is totally voluntary. I did the same thing last year but with flat snowmen shapes(each about 2 1/2 foot tall). I was AMAZED by the participation. I had to make more because the caf. & cust. staff wanted to join in the fun!! :) I pre-made about 45 snow balls(we have a large staff)...and placed them above our mailboxes in the office with my example. They have till January to get them back to me..so they don't have to do them before Christmas if they don't want to...but I had one done the next day!!! ha ha
