PRAYERS GOING OUT/UP

Most of you have heard the horrible news about the shooting in Connecticut.  Our hearts hurt for the  school...the families...and the community.  We can not truly know the horror of it all, but our imaginations all go to..."WHAT IF THAT HAPPENED HERE?"  Our school met informally afterwards to pray for those impacted by this tragedy.  I'm so thankful to work in a school that believes in the power of prayer....and has hearts for not only our children...but all children!!!!!!

IF YOU ARE A PERSON OF PRAYER....PLEASE JOIN US!!!!

  1. Hey Ted,

I sat at my desk and prayed for the souls of those taken too soon today. I cannot understand how someone could do such a horrific thing. I will love my students from this point forward like never before.

    Blessings,
    Pat

  3. ART AS HEALING - www.deafartteacher.blogspot.com

Friday - I was distraught and distracted (my students did not know yet) I received texts early in the morning - as I am from a nearby town and had family who are teachers and they were in lockdown.

The weekend - unbelievable grief - and wish I never saw anything on the news...

Monday - I was a better teacher and more supportive. My students found minutes of peace in the art room

For myself to heal - I wrote a post on my blog.

*prayers, love, peace and understanding* I hope we can find all of these and heal.
