this is one of the coolest organization tips for yarn I have seen! My challenge would be to find a place to store the plastic boxes so the students could access them. Thanks for the idea!
Love this! I created a similar system using 2 liter bottles. cut a "door" flap on the side, insert the yarn skein, pull the yarn through the end of the bottle. Biggest problem is getting kiddos to leave a tail for the next person.
Anonymous...I don't know who you are...but your idea is AWESOME!! AND FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) Yes..leaving a long enough tail is an issue I have as well...cut it too close and the box sucks it up like a noodle! :) Thanks for the idea..I may make some just for the fun of it!!
