Alien Mono-Prints

I had my 3rd graders create these fun alien creatures using water soluble oil pastels.  The students draw and color their work on one side of a folded piece of paper.  Then using a spray bottle wet the opposite side.  Fold the paper together & use a spoon to rub it.

    great idea for using those water-soluble oil pastels... i rarely use mine, but now i'll give them another try

    Water soluble oil pastels...I must know more about this product!!! I may need to do something with my boys!! We use oil pastels all the time here and that would be fun, also the fabric kind!
