Find of the Century: Target

So a week or so ago my wife was shopping at Target, and she found several boxes of Construction Paper Crayons(Class Sets).  They were $25 at the time...great deal, but I told her don't get them.  This week she goes in and finds them marked down to $18 a box!!!! WHAT!!?!??!  I couldn't pass that up.  The question is...why would Target have class set boxes?  Maybe someone ordered from Target.com and then brought them back to an actual store location?  I don't know...but I'm glad I was able to snag such an amazing deal!!!  What is the best deal you've ever gotten in an odd location?

  3. I got large bottles of Stroke and Coat glazes at a local discount freight place for $5/each. I bought all they had, and they got hip to it :-( The next time they were $13/each (and I didn't buy any).

  4. One Saturday I was driving down the road and saw a sign on the corner of a residential neighborhood that read "Teacher Sale". I figured, I would bite and go find it and see what it was all about. Turns out, two retiring lower elementary school teachers were selling their huge collections of classroom stuff. Their was tons of stuff lining both sides of the very long driveway. The catch for me was the garage. The entire garage floor was lined with rows of boxes full of children's books, all organized by subject, and all going for 25 cents a piece. I think I bought 20 dollars worth. Ton's of caldecott books, art books, and great story books. Sure would love to find something like that again.
