So summer is over for me...and ending for many of you!
It's time to kick our blogs into high gear with new lessons, amazing works of art, and fun classroom ideas. It is also time for house cleaning. I have a general rule for my blog roll. If I don't see you post at least once a month...I'll remove you from my list. I give a bit more grace in the summer. Janet from Ms. Malone's Art Room is the only one exempt from that rule....because she's one of my best friends(Though you better post soon Malone..or you'll get the ax! ha ha). I'm not trying to be mean or anything...it's just there are so many great blogs out there with so many wonderful ideas..I want to make sure my blog roll is "fresh!" That is what I do when I come to my blog....look at what people are posting! So my bloggie friends...please post!! If I have removed you..and you start posting again..shoot me an e-mail..and I'll look at adding you back!!!
HAVE AN AWESOME DAY!!
I do the same thing from time to time, but it has been a while. This is a good reminder that it is time for me to houseclean MY blog roll as well. Plus it could use a little new look, I suppose...ReplyDelete
but how in the world to you erase a blog? all I can figure out how to do is hide the blogs!ReplyDelete
I enjoy your blog so much. I didn't realize you wanted everyone to post. Thanks so much.ReplyDelete
Susan...that post was for all the bloggers that are listed in my blog roll to the left of my page. They are listed by the last time they post...so I know who isn't posting!!! ha ha Thank you for visiting!!Delete
Hey, add me to your blog roll!!!!ReplyDelete
Art on my Hands
Please and thank you. : )ReplyDelete
I started to write a blog on the same topic a couple weeks ago. My blog roll was looking pretty stagnant!! I just want to say that, besides being a wonderful art teacher, I love that you proudly talk about being a Christian. I know some people are scared to share their beliefs, so it is refreshing! If you get time, stop by my blog, http://dripdripsplattersplash.blogspot.com/. I try hard to post every Monday and Friday, which can be a challenge when you are chasing 3 little girls! HahaReplyDelete
YIPES! I have taken the summer off from teachin' and bloggin' and spent the summer starting grad school, hanging with the kiddos (camping), and filling out lots of art teacher applications (all were no-go's, sadly). Just saw your post and, whew!, I haven't been given the ax yet! Guess it's time to start bloggin' again! We don't go back to school until August 28th, but I'm already thinking about school...take care! Mrs. PReplyDelete
We can play this game....I was in grad school...we had our first child...and sold our house & I kept blogging!!! :) NO EXCUSES!!! ha ha (this is when I first started blogging...years ago!)Delete
OK, OK, I'll get on it! ;-) WHEW! And I thought you were an old softie!ReplyDelete
:) HA HA Well..old maybe.ReplyDelete
I'm back to blogging and work today. I did take time off this summer but today I am going to a Beginning Blogging workshop taught by Leslie McReynolds. She asks me to come and help out! I hope I can "pay it forward" today. Thank you for being such an inspiration and helping me get my blog together. I am looking forward to a great year!ReplyDelete
