Sanford Foohy

I have never been "picky" about markers. As long as they work, I like to have a nice variety on hand. Different brands give you different colors which gives you different results in the art work. Foohy Gel Markers, however, seem to be (or should I say..seemed) a brand beloved by art teachers everywhere. Unfortunately, Sanford has yanked Foohy Markers from the market. We need Foohy! Mega marker makers like Crayola, Prang, RoseArt..etc...need to have a quality product like Foohy Gel Markers to hold them to a higher standard.
SANFORD ARE YOU LISTENING?
BRING BACK FOOHY!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. These are my favorite markers. The crayola ones just don't compare in my oppinion.

  3. I just discovered these markers in a classpack ordered by a previous art teacher. They are great markers and my kids LOVE them. I can't believe they've discontinued them -- I'm gonna write them!

  4. Love Foohy gel markers. Was SO disappointed to see that they were yanked. Crayola gel markers aren't juicy enough and don't hold up near to the quality of the Foohy markers.

  5. You know, Crayola isn't all that they hype about! As an art teacher you spend so much money ordering markers and you want quality, juicy markers, which Crayola is not. I don't even buy Crayola tempera paint any more. There are so many more options than Crayola and I think they better step up their game and check their prices before they loose out on us art teachers!!! There! I guess I got on a soap box, sorry...

  6. There is no other product on the market to compare to the Sanford Foohy markers! Will Binney & Smith take the hint and develop a similar product? Their current gel markers aren't even close!

  7. I though I was the only looking for Foohy markers...I can't find them anywhere. I have double sided gel and metallic markers from 6 years ago and would be willing to spend the money if I could find them again. Foohy is my favorite!!!

  8. It's a long story how I just fell onto this old post of yours - but anyhow - oh do I miss those Foohy's, and even more, I miss the Foohy Gel markers that were fabulously rich in color, including black. Nothing like the wimpy colors of Crayola Gel markers. Did you ever find what happened to the Foohy markers?

  9. I am looking for Foohy Paint Blast. Are they all completely gone!! They have worked down to the last shred of ink and now we have none.

  10. I'VE BEEN SEARCHING FOR FOOHY PRODUCTS FOR WHAT SEEMS LIKE AN ETERNITY. IN MY OPINION, THERE ARE NO OTHER MARKERS THAT COMPARE TO THE QUALITY OF FOOHY. BRING BACK FOOHY!!!

  13. Please please please bring back the Foohy Gel Markers!!! They are (by far) the best markers I ever used in my 20 years teaching visual art. I have three Foohy Gel markers still floating around my room and my students keep asking me if I have more.

  14. I love the gel markers, they were so vibrant and long lasting. They made terrific face/body paints for children's events and sporting events. I look online every once in a while hoping to find something. Oh well maybe next year.
I wish someone would make something comparable if the original products never resurfaces

  15. Well here we are in good old 2020, a solid decade since the original plea for Foohy's return was posted. And still no Foohy. Not even a good replacement. And I'm heartbroken. I discovered the gel markers 14 years ago. I airways made my own cards for everything. Fell head over heels for those gel pens. When the last set ran out and I couldn't find more.....I stopped making those cards. And to this day I haven't bothered trying again. Bc nothing compares to Foohy's Gel Pens
