We were out of school for a week during the winter because of a major ice storm. During this time, I volunteered at Compassionate Hands. It is an organization that helps the un-homed and those who may be struggling financially. While I was there, I asked if they might want a mural created. THEY WERE SO EXCITED!!! I told them it would have to wait till summer. I drew it out and went over my lines with white. I then started each letter with a color I wanted in that space. I left brushes and paint for those who utilize Compassionate Hands to join in creating the mural. I then went back in and cleaned up some areas and did some shading/blending. It adds some much needed color in the space.
