Getting Ready for Next Year

With a little over a week left of school...I'm in the midst of getting ready for next school year.  I'm going to be going with a cool/icy color theme.  I've gotten most of my letters cut out for my boards....and I've had my students create these fun turtles to hang outside my room at the start of the school year.
So much still to do...but I have a jump on thing at least.

  1. OMG. Sitting here struggling with how to post about this evening's art show (lots of seriously mixed emotions), and I still have I think 5 weeks left, and you are already making bulletin boards for NEXT YEAR! I'm impressed. Holy guacamole!!

  3. My goal is to leave my room completely empty so I can redecorate in my head all summer and come back to a blank slate! And Friday's our last day, yikes.

  5. Woweee! I have to tell you I'm totally JEALOUS! I wake up every day and feel like it's the last week, but it's not and I still have a lot to complete. Mainly my goal for the next 5 weeks is to have center work for the last two or three weeks (they get to choose their center which they love but it is a ton of work for me.) I definitely will work hard on the stations because I wimped out on an end of year art show. I never got the response I felt merited the 30 plus hours of hanging 600+ kids work and preparing the raffle and the art stations, getting the word out etc. So I bid adieu to end of year art shows! I am much saner for it.

Glad for you but so jealous, another reason to love Tennessee and no income tax!
