Painted Clay Fish Pinch Pots - 1st Grade

  2. The clay was done in one class time, you just have to watch your demo time & have the supplies in order to pass out.

  4. I loved them just plain but love them even more painted!!! I am pretty sure I am going to do them with my sons soon using Model Magic, since I do not have access to a kiln! Thanks for continuing to inspire me!!

  5. I did this activity with my Grade 1 children last term after seeing it on your blog and was astounded by some of the gorgeous fish created by the children. After discussing it with the children we decided to call them the singing fish, as opposed to the other reason why your mouth might be open so wide - the screaming fish, as they all seemed to look so happy!!! I will post photos on my blog when they are all painted and vernished. I absolutely love your blog and refer to it. I would love it if you had a look at my blog. Here is the link
